Docksta extra ikon

We are proud to present a new collaboration with one of Sweden’s most iconic designers of all time, Stig Lindberg. The Herbarium pattern was created in 1947 and will now adorn our classic Gunilla model, which was brought to life during the very same era. Two iconic creations, now woven together.

Gunilla is one of our most beloved styles and a clear expression of our craftsmanship here in the High Coast. Each pair is made by hand in our factory, where leatherwork and shoemaking have been part of daily life for over a century.

To give the model its distinctive character, the patterned fabric is laminated onto a soft, high-quality leather. This creates an upper that is both flexible and supportive—a combination that allows the slipper to shape to your foot and become more comfortable the longer you wear it.

The natural cork sole offers a light, cushioned feel that adapts over time, while details like the leather edging complete the crafted look. The result is a timeless slipper with both comfort and character.

Welcome to the Docksta family, Gunilla Herbarium.

Design collaboration

Docksta x Stig Lindberg

For over a hundred years, we have been making shoes in Docksta, with a craft that has evolved from both tradition and experience. Our products are made from fine leather, with a commitment to quality that is never compromised.

Today, our production takes place both here at home in Sweden and with selected partners in Europe – but our factory in Northern Sweden remains the heart of everything we do.

The Herbarium pattern was designed in 1947 and will adorn our classic model Gunilla, which was brought to life at the same time.

Two iconic objects that will now be intertwined. We hope that you, our customers, will enjoy this and that it will become one of our classics.

Stig Lindberg

Sig Lindberg (1916–1982) was a Swedish designer active in ceramics, glass, textiles, industrial design, painting and illustration.

As one of Sweden's most important designers, he created both unique studio ceramic works and elegant tableware during his long career at the Gustavsberg porcelain factory. In addition to his work at Gustavsberg, he was also a valued children's book illustrator for many years.

About us

Craftsmanship from Northern Sweden

For over a hundred years, we have been making shoes in Docksta, with a craft that has evolved from both tradition and experience. Our products are made from fine leather, with a commitment to quality that is never compromised.

A Message from Our CEO

For me, Docksta Sko is more than a factory – it is a place where people, craftsmanship, and history meet. Our shoes carry knowledge passed down through generations, and we work to create products that last, both in style and quality. I hope you wear them with the same pride we feel here in Docksta.

– Lisa Edin, CEO Docksta Sko

Our Factory Shop

Between the sea and the mountains, right by the E4 highway in Docksta, you’ll find our factory shop. Here, you are met by the scent of leather, the sound of the machines, and the people behind the craft.

A place where history and the present meet – and where you become part of the story when you leave with something from our collection.
