Care instructions

Vegetable tanned leather
A very good leather that is organically tanned with bark extract in Sweden. The leather may initially seem a little stiff but quickly becomes softer when it starts to be used and ages beautifully. Clean with a slightly damp cloth, let dry and then lubricate with uncolored shoe wax or shoe grease. We recommend Docksta Sko's own leather conditioner .

Nubuck
Nubuck is a soft leather with a very smooth and fine matte surface and is reminiscent of suede. The difference is that nubuck is a leather quality where the outside (grain side) has been sanded to become matte while suede is the inside of the leather (flesh side). Wipe your shoes clean with a damp cloth and let dry. Use cream and impregnation specifically for nubuck and suede. If your shoes have stains or salt streaks that are difficult to remove, you can use a special sanding block to remove these and then a suede brush to remove the sanding residue. Lubricate and impregnate again.

Wool
Natural material that stretches and molds to the foot. Keeps you warm while the material breathes well and transports moisture away. Dry wool slippers with a cloth but avoid water.

Fabric/Linen
The fabric we use for our slippers is of very good quality. To extend the durability and shape, the fabric is laminated to leather. Try to avoid dirt and water. Fabric slippers can be wiped with a cloth if necessary and can be impregnated with a spray intended for textiles.

Greased Leather
Greased nubuck leather that ages nicely and easily gains a new shine when oiled. Clean with a slightly damp cloth. Let dry and then oil with uncolored shoe wax or shoe grease. We recommend Docksta Sko's own leather oil .

Cork
Our slippers have a sole made of natural cork. The cork should not be used in water as it can loosen from repeated exposure to moisture. The cork sole can be lubricated with cork spray for longer durability.
