The Docksta Mountain Boot draws its inspiration from the classic ski boots and sturdy boots that have been manufactured in our factory in Docksta over the years. A timeless silhouette with clear roots in our shoemaking tradition.
The boot features a double-lasted stitchdown construction where the inner lining is folded in under the vegetable-tanned leather insole, while the outer leather is folded out over a midsole, also made of vegetable-tanned leather. The upper is then stitched through the midsole. This creates a solid and robust construction that withstands moisture well, while also giving the boot its characteristic expression.
Under the midsole is a coarse rubber outsole with a robust lug pattern, chosen to provide good grip and at the same time reinforce the classic ski boot and mountain boot silhouette.
The upper is made of full-grain leather and the boot is fully lined with soft aniline leather. In the heel area, we have chosen suede to create a better grip around the heel. The softly padded collar provides comfort around the ankle and the removable, cushioning insole has a leather top.
The lacing features sturdy metal eyelets and speed hooks, which both contribute to the classic look and make the boot faster and easier to lace.
The result is a classic leather boot that is robust and sturdy, but designed to work just as naturally in everyday life as for a more casual and well-dressed look.
